Lets raise a glass to the fruitiest cocktail around…..
We love a Pornstar Martini here at Maverick HQ! Created in 2002 by Douglas Ankrah, owner of the famous Lab Bar in London, the drink was inspired by him visiting ‘Mavericks’ in Cape Town, South Africa and was originally called ‘The Maverick Martini’ (can you see why we are such big fans)? The cocktail was later renamed the Pornstar Martini as Ankrah thought it was so indulgent that it was a cocktail a Pornstar would probably drink! Once the Mojito was the UK’s most popular drink, now it’s the Porn Star Martini!
It may not be the most sophisticated cocktail around, but we think that this sweet and easy drinking cocktail ticks all of the boxes when it comes to a fun drink.
