Introducing our latest serve the strawberry mojito!
We love a Mojito here at The Maverick Bar Company, that wonderful blend of white rum, fresh mint, freshly squeezed lime juice and simple syrup. Summertime in a glass!
Havana is the birthplace of the Mojito, although its exact origin is the subject of debate, it was known that the local South American Indians had remedies for various tropical illnesses, so a small boarding party went ashore on Cuba and came back with ingredients for an effective medicine (our sort of medicine)!
We’ve added a quintessential English twist to this classic drink with the addition of English strawberries bursting with juicy flavours.
Simply muddle ripe strawberries in the bottom of a glass and add the rest of the Mojito ingredients – white rum, smacked mint, fresh lime, simple syrup and soda over crushed ice.
